I'm not too worried, if push comes to shove X86 emulation is possible too.Are you sure you're not talking about x86-64*? Download latest version of DS Emulator app. Even on desktop Arm should eventually kill x86, perhaps in 10 years? It would be nice if WoW still went on at that time ^ Those mobile workstations would be much better off with Arm CPUs too, way more horsepower can be kept cold in a relatively small enclosure. Arm CPUs should dominate the notebook scene soon. Arm has a tremendous advantage, when it comes to performance/watt, which means there will be 32-64 core consumer CPU-s with super low TDP-s in the future. There is not all that much difference in terms of single core performance between a top of the line arm core and an x86 core today. Wow isn't in that category in my mind. There is not all that much difference in terms of single core performance between a top of the line arm core and an x86 core today. And most people really only use their laptoppers for browsing or some simple graphics games. Low power, allows for even longer battery life. probably a no go for a loong while for anything that is serious on x86-64(EDIT: Important distinction apparently, was x86). For a game like WoW, it may not really be a fit.Īnd aside that, compiling all the prerequisite libraries for it. As far as I've heard it's also a much weaker CPU.
